A federal judge sentenced an Indiana County woman Monday to three years' probation for Social Security fraud.
Shirley Livingston, 47, of Homer City failed to tell the Social Security Administration that her son had been removed from her custody and placed in a children and youth facility, prosecutors say.
U.S. District Judge Joy Flowers Conti ordered Livingston to pay $15,654 in restitution for the mother and child benefits she illegally received.
