Soldiers won't be forgotten at Easter

War and Veterans Inc. will distribute Easter care packages to active military personnel and veterans this spring.

Addresses for veterans serving overseas and donations to cover the cost of the care packages are being sought.

The soldier's APO, next of kin, phone number and address are required so items can be shipped properly.

Schools, churches, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and businesses are being asked to assist with the project. Postage is $12.50 per package.

War and Veterans Inc. is working with the National Guard armory in Mt. Pleasant Township to ship at least one package to each soldier deployed from there.
