People magazine says a report that tennis player Anna Kournikova claimed to have married Latin singer Enrique Iglesias is not true.

Last week Us magazine said Kournikova, 23, was seen wearing a wedding band on her ring finger at a Florida charity tennis event and that when asked about her relationship with Iglesias, she said, "Enrique is great. Everything is awesome. We are married," Us reported.

But People reports an anonymous source insists the Us story is not true.

"They definitely did not get married," the source said. "They're very happy together, but marriage is not something that they're planning in their lives right now."

The ring Kournikova was wearing was not a wedding band, People reported.

The couple has been dating since Kournikova appeared in Iglesias's 2002 video for his hit "Escape," and in the past have joked about being married.
