Spanish Basque separatist group ETA was blamed Tuesday for the bombing of a government building in northern Spain, the second attack in as many days.

Though ETA did not take responsibility for the blast, authorities said they were certain the bombing was the work of the radical group, El Mundo reported online.

ETA has been fighting for a separate Basque homeland straddling the French-Spanish border for the last four decades.

More than 800 people have been killed in their attacks, comprised mostly of bombings, though none has been fatal since 2003.
