FCBL meeting
The Fayette County Baseball League will meet on Monday at the Uniontown YMCA at 7:30 p.m. All teams must be represented.
CAHS hockey
The Connellsville hockey team is sponsoring a cash bash on Sunday, Feb. 17 at the South Connellsville Fire Hall from 1-5 p.m. The cost is $20 and proceeds benefit the Connellsville High School hockey program. GSGSL
Sign-ups for the 2002 season of the Greater Scottdale Girls Softball League will be held on Saturdays, Feb. 2, 9 and 16, from 12-3 p.m. in the basement of the Scottdale Bank and Trust. Cost is $40 for the first child and $30 for each additional child. You may also choose to pay $25 and sell one box of candy.
MP swimming
The Mount Pleasant Swim Team Parents Club will be selling tickets for a chance for a private pheasant hunt at the Lucky Buck Hunting Preserve near Saltsburg. In addition, the winner will also receive four Charles Daly 12-gauge pump shotguns. Tickets are $10 and each ticket contains two numbers. The winning number will be drawn on the Pennsylvania Lottery on Feb. 28.
Tickets are available from any swim team parent. Ticket money will be used to pay for swimmers' meals at the year-end banquet. For more information, call Patti Peirce at 724-593-6184.
