An open gym will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 5 and 12 for any Ligonier student in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade who wants to try-out for the youth basketball travel team. Try-outs are 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 19 and 20. Practice and try-outs are at the Ligonier Valley Middle School gym. There is no fee except for the players chosen for the travel teams. Sports submission guidelines
Sports deadline is 9 a.m. Friday for possible publication in the next edition. Submit information and photos via email to echo@tribweb.com. The information will be edited. High school and time-sensitive articles have first priority. Email photos as JPG and identify everyone including first and last names spelled correctly.
