Sign-ups will be held each week night from today through Friday, March 22, from 5-7 p.m. Players may also register on Saturdays, March 16 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Also, a special meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the major field on Tuesday, March 19. All managers and coaches should attend. Ski trips The Connellsville Ski Club has scheduled the final two discount ski trips to Seven Springs for the current season. A night trip is planned for Thursday, and a twilight event is set for Sunday. Lift tickets, rentals and lessons have been further discounted. Connellsville Area secondary students may register with ski club advisors at their respective schools. Adults may sign up one day in advance at the community center or Video Snax. YMCA Golf Classic The 12th annual Regional Family YMCA Celebrity Golf Classic will be held on Friday, May 3, at Pleasant Valley Country Club. The tournament will be hosted by Scottdale native Russ Grimm. The rain date is May 10. YMCA Spring Race The 23rd annual Regional Family YMCA Spring Race will be held on Saturday, May 18, in downtown Scottdale at 9 a.m. Foley 5K The 19th annual Phil Foley Memorial 5k Walk, Run and Children’s Fun Run will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the Yough River Park.
