The Steelers reduced their roster to 80 players today by releasing four players.

Cut were linebacker Chris Ellis, wide receiver Terrence McCrae, cornerback Niles Brinkley and defensive tackle Anthony Gray.

McCrae was a 2006 graduate of Connellsville High School who played at Ohio University.

Under NFL rules, the Steelers must set their 53-man roster for the season by 6 p.m. Saturday.
