A senior playing a prank glued shut every single door to the New Smyrna Beach High School in Florida.

For his trouble, Andreas Baertschi was arrested at school Thursday and charged Friday with burglary and criminal mischief, WKMG-TV, Orlando, reported.

The 18-year-old reportedly told police his original intent was to glue a statue to the roof of the building. When that didn't work, he decided to put glue in all the door locks.

Students and staff waited outside for more than an hour Tuesday morning while crews worked to pry open the doors.
