Authorities will use surveillance footage in an attempt to determine who left a message about a bomb Monday morning in a boys bathroom in Yough Senior High School, a district official said.

About 800 students were moved to the district's middle school after the message was discovered, Superintendent Janet Sardon said.

Some parents picked up their children at the middle school after showing identification, she said. Most students were returned to the high school by bus after state police give the all-clear shortly after noon, Sardon said.

In addition to criminally charging the suspect who left the message, the district will seek restitution for expenses incurred as a result of the threat, Sardon said.
