What kind of Republican Party do we have in Pennsylvania? The kind with a fill-in governor who decides that his defining moment will be to raise the cigarette tax to balance the budget, a Republican House that passes it and the whole bunch patting themselves on the back like this is a great achievement. Who needs Democrats when the Republicans think that the only way to balance a budget is to raise taxes• Some days I really have to grit my teeth as a Republican.
