The British pop trio Sugababes got its new member Thursday, just one day after founding singer Mutya Buena announced she was leaving.

Amelle Berrabah, 21, of Hampshire, England, said the job is a dream come true.

"For years I've dreamt of breaking into the music business but never did I dream of waking up one day to be the third Sugababe," the BBC quoted her as saying.

Buena, a new mom, said Wednesday it was a hard decision to make, but she just could not commit the necessary time to promote Sugababes' album, "Taller in More Ways."

Buena's exit leaves Keisha Buchanan as the only founding member of the trio.
