Cranberry Township supervisors approved an intermunicipal water agreement with Adams Township.
The agreement, approved Thursday, will bring public water to eight homes in the Hidden Oaks plan.
No public water serves that plan, so all the houses have wells.
Adams Township recently completed a new public water system to serve most of the township.
Cranberry Township supervisors approved the sale of two 1998 Ford Crown Victorias to Grace Quality Used Cars in Morrisville, Pa.
They were used as police cars and sold for $4,782 each.
Supervisors approved the sale Thursday.
Fox Chapel Area schools
Fox Chapel Area High School's Community Awareness Day will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. Sept. 24 at the school, 611 Field Club Road, O'Hara Township.
The purpose of the day is to invite and encourage the entire community to visit the school and observe the ninth- through 12th-grade educational programs. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the classrooms and sit in on classes.
Fox Chapel Area School District residents are invited and encouraged to visit the school.
