Support your library
September is membership month at Leechburg Public Library. Those who would like to become members are encouraged to visit the library and sign up. Current members should take a few moments to stop in and verify that their contact information (name, address and phone) is correct. Non-borough residents who joined the library prior to 2013 should also take this opportunity to renew their membership before the fee increases in 2014.
Leechburg Public Library receives no state funding. The only municipality that financially supports the library is Leechburg Borough. Even though residents of West Leechburg and Gilpin Township pay taxes to Leechburg Area School District, that money does not help to fund the public library.
