The faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law rank among the top 25 in the nation, according to a new study.

Called "Top 35 Law Faculties Based on Scholarly Impact, 2007," the report was done by Brian Leiter, director of the law and philosophy program at the University of Texas at Austin. He has been ranking American law schools since 1997.

The rankings are based on measures of faculty citations in scholarly journals.
