Suspect surrenders in South Side stabbing case
An arrest has been made in the stabbing Friday morning of an Uptown man in the South Side, city police said.
Shane O'Neil Hennen, 24, of the South Side surrendered in the afternoon on charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in connection with the stabbing of Ryan Lambert, 25.
Police responded to a fight at Diesel around 1:15 a.m., but it had broken up by the time they arrived. Soon afterward, officers found Lambert in the 2100 block of Wharton Street bleeding from wounds to his neck and wrist.
Lambert was hospitalized in UPMC Mercy, Uptown.
