SWAT team responds to intruder report

An Allegheny County SWAT team found no one inside a home that had been broken into Saturday in the 1600 block of Chartiers Avenue in McKees Rocks, officials said.

The home had been broken into Saturday afternoon, and an assailant stabbed a dog, police said.

Authorities said there were weapons in the home, which prompted the use of the SWAT team.
