The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office is in negotiations to permanently close a Homewood bar that has been the scene of several shootings, a spokesman said.

Mac Can Do bar has been closed since Friday, and the owners are working out a consent decree to close the bar on Brushton Avenue, said Mike Manko, a spokesman for District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr.

A man was killed outside the bar earlier this month.
