Teams advance to finals in Connellsville Booster Football League
Josh Cree threw a touchdown pass to Benjamin Kisiel and Zach Cree ran for a pair of touchdowns to lead Dunbar to a 19-13 victory over Bullskin in Connellsville Booster Football League Senior Division playoff action. Jimmy DeMarco and Richard Brinker were offensive standouts for Dunbar. Jade Maher and Robbie Greenlee stood out on defense.
Javon Blackwell played well on offense for Bullskin. Brice Shogan had a solid effort on defense.
Tri-Town 20, ICV 0
J.T. Stevenson had a pair of touchdown runs and Jordan McCrae also rushed for a score, as Tri-Town blanked ICV. McCrae and Zac Swift each kicked extra points. Shawn DeWitt came up with an interception. Josh Bromley, Matt Hart, Sean Meade and Garrett Lowman were solid on offense. Benny Aultz, Bru Martin, Dylan McCrae, Cody Hileman, Trevor Farrell, Grant Witt, Randy Sova and Daniel Thomas played well defensively.
Garrett Brooks, Matthew Ream, Lucas Uphold and Gary Nicholson were offensive standouts for ICV. Brandon Swaney, Dillon Miller, Austin Brooks and Tyler Geary stood out on defense.
Dunbar will play Tri-Town in the title game at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Dunbar 25, South Connellsville 6
Josh Cree recovered a fumble for a touchdown and Domonic Golderesi had an interception return for a score to help Dunbar beat South Connellsville in playoff action. Griffin Thompson and Cree also had rushing touchdowns for Dunbar. Austin Williams and Luke Kisiel played well along the offensive line. Caleb Pittsment, Tyler Childs and Anthony DeMarco stood out along the defensive line.
Bullskin 19, ICV 0
Bullskin advanced to the finals with a shutout over ICV. Bullskin will play Dunbar in the Junior Division title game at 1 p.m. Saturday.
