A state trooper who saw two teens riding an all-terrain vehicle on an Indiana County road Friday gave chase. Moments later the ATV was in a ditch, and a passenger, an Armstrong County girl, was headed to a hospital. Corina Adamson, 16, of Sagamore remained in stable condition at Indiana Hospital Saturday. She suffered a major leg injury in the crash, which sent the quad airborne for approximately 40 feet, Trooper Jeff Edwards said. Edwards, a trooper based in Indiana, said he saw Adamson and Robert Stripling riding a Honda Four Trax ATV just off Route 85 in Plumville at 5 p.m. Friday. The two fled and soon wrecked, he said. Stripling, 18, of Plumville was not injured. He was not wearing a helmet, Edwards said. Adamson was.
