A teenager has been sentenced to life in prison for raping his teacher at a boys' school in London.
A judge told the 16-year-old his sentence would be at Her Majesty's Pleasure, meaning he will only be released when doctors have determined he presents no danger to society.
The teacher was only in her second day at the Westminster City School for Boys when she was attacked in September 2004. The boy was 15 at the time.
"This was a truly dreadful crime," Judge Christopher Moss told the boy. "You subjected your victim to the terror of a physical, sexually degrading and humiliating attack in her own classroom. She said she considered her classroom her safe zone. You violated her place of safety."
The victim, 28, said she thought she was going to be killed as the teenager pulled off her clothes, head-butted her and bit her. She eventually ran naked to the principal's office.
