Teletech to hire 150 for customer management positions

TeleTech Holdings Inc. is hiring additional 150 customer management positions at its Uniontown location, located at the Uniontown Mall.

The company is holding a job fair from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at its Uniontown location.

"Despite the current downturn in the global economy, we are very fortunate that the growth in our business has allowed us to expand our work force in Uniontown," said Charles McLaughlin, TeleTech's Uniontown site director. "TeleTech has been thriving in Uniontown, and we look forward to continued growth in this vibrant community."

TeleTech employs more than 800 people in Uniontown. Telemarketing services are not conducted from the location.

Paid training for the new positions will begin on various dates throughout the remainder of the year. The training lasts for three to four weeks; salaries start at $8.50 per hour. Shifts are available at various days and times, seven days a week. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous customer service experience, strong computer skills and the ability to work flexible hours.
