Dear Editor:

We would like to share with the community of Connellsville what a group of children from the Connellsville Area Senior High School did for our organization.

Alicia Stoots, a senior and president of Randy Whoric's Bible Club, called and asked if we would be interested in winter clothing. Coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, pants, gloves, blankets, some with tags still on them.

There was one stipulation, they had to be given away, no money involved. My response was, "Sure, we could and would do that."

On Saturday, I met Stoots at the center. Imagine my surprise, her mother's van was loaded with bags and boxes. Never in my life did I dream there would be so much! You can't believe how happy the people were receiving these items.

I wish the kids in this club could have been present to see the reaction and knowing they helped so many families.

Mr. Whoric, you have a very special group. I am proud you chose our organization, and I was able to meet this very special person. I wish we could have meet the entire group.

We always hear the bad that's why we wanted to share the good.
