The Drue Heinz Lectures has released the schedule for its 2008-09 season.

Sept. 22, 2008: Tina Brown, editor at Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and Talk magazines, and author of the “The Diana Chronicles.”

Oct. 6, 2008: Edwidge Danticat, author of the memoir “Brother, I’m Dying,” winner of a 2007 National Book Critics Award.

Oct. 20, 2008: Richard Russo, Pulitzer Prize-winning author for “Empire Falls” in 2002.

Nov. 17, 2008: Caldecott Medal winner David Macaulay, author of “The Way Things Work” and “The Way We Work.”

Dec. 1, 2008: Crossword puzzle guru and editor Will Shortz, director of the World Puzzle Championships and contributor to NPR’s “Weekend Editor

Jan. 26, 2009: Devra Davis, author of “When Smoke Ran Like Water” and head of environmental oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.

Feb. 9, 2009: Janet Browne, lecturing on the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin; author the Darwin biographies “Voyaging” and “The Power of Place.”

March 2, 2009: Former U.S. poet laureate Billy Collins, author of numerous collections including “Questions About Angels.”

March 30, 2009: Marjane Satrapi, creator of the graphic novel “Persepolis,” which was adapted into an Academy Award-nominated film.

April 6, 2008: Judith Jones, publisher of cookbooks by Julia Child and James Beard, author of “The Tenth Muse: My Life in Food.”

Full season subscriptions are $200. Individual lectures are $25.
