Top comics plan shows for Comedy Central
Comedy Central has hired some of the nation's top comedians and writers to develop new shows for the network.
Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Lewis Black and Morgan Spurlock are a few of the names working under development deals with the network, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.
Spurlock's show, "Public Nuisance," has him traveling the country exploring and confronting a variety of social and political issues.
Silverman, the long-time girlfriend of ABC TV late night host Jimmy Kimmel, will star in a half-hour series based on her life.
Sandler's "Gay Robot" has Nick Swardson as the voice of a frat house robot whose creator accidentally spills wine cooler in his circuit boards -- making him gay.
