Chappell, a 6-3, 190-pound senior who plays on the wing was the MVP of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference as a junior, then drew the attention of recruiters with a strong showing playing with the Cincinnati team in the AAU national tournament this summer in Orlando, Fla. He also had offers from the MAC, but Robert Morris was among the first to recruit Chappell.
