AMP Energy Juice is a mistake. Their regular energy drink isn't bad, but this attempt to marry the umph of an energy drink with fruit juice is a horror. Although the label boasts there is no added sugar, both flavors are very sweet. The mixed-berry flavor is palatable, but no more than that. The orange is a disaster with an aftertaste that might best be described as bacon meets old shoes. I like my java kick in the morning, as well as a glass of juice. For now, I'll continue to get them separately rather than in the Frankenstein mix AMP is selling.

I definitely enjoyed the orange flavor, it tasted like normal orange juice. The mixed berry was good, as well, but the taste seemed slightly off. I couldn't quite figure out what "mixed-berries" they were supposed to be. They did appear to work as advertised. I tried one in the morning and didn't feel tired at all throughout the day. I wasn't jittery and didn't experience a crash later. Overall, I enjoyed them. I'm not a big energy or juice drinker, but if the mood hit me, I probably would drink AMP juice again.

New AMP Energy Juice is a good alternative for people who don't like the jitters that coffee gives in the morning. They come in two flavors, orange and mixed berry. So I tried these new juices in two different scenarios. The first I drank as soon as I woke up, and it was a great start to my day. You know that feeling of "ugh, morning"⢠Well, these new energy juices take that away and make you feel peppy and enthusiastic. The second I tested to determine how it would benefit me at work. It does help you focus a bit better, and it lasted for about 3 to 4 hours. What's nice about these juices is that you get no jitters, no bad taste like that in some energy drinks, and, most importantly, no crash, since it's 100-percent juice.
The orange flavor tastes freshly squeezed. It's nice to be able to enjoy an energy drink instead of taking a quick shot of what tastes like a liquid multivitamin. The mixed berry also tastes like 100-percent juice, but it did have a hint of an "energy drink aftertaste."
The vitamins and fresh juice, instead of sugar and caffeine, and taurine, which are the predominant ingredients, make AMP Energy Juice a good breakfast alternative that you can enjoy rather than coffee. All in all, AMP Energy Juice is a great new product; it tastes just like high-end grocery-store juice, and gives a great jump-start to your day.
