The poopsie with the booty bow on the tube gave me a moment's hesitation. And when I squeezed out a bit of the gel, I thought, hmmm, this rather thin product doesn't look promising. But was I ever wrong. The gel smooths easily over legs in a protective coating that's lubricating and soothing.

I love the eye-opening eucalyptus scent. And I appreciate the see-through quality that gives you a chance to avoid knicking moles and skin abrasions that tend to disappear under the usual foaming gel and shaving cream. The end product is moisturized and silky skin that feels good and looks great. Ooh La La! indeed!

I've never found a shaving lotion that was worth the extra price or the space it takes up in the shower, and when I saw the kitschy art on the tube of Queen of ... Ooh! La La! Shaving Gel, I didn't have high expectations. I was wrong. As a recent "victim" of a knee injury, I've found that the skin on my leg is extra sensitive to, well, everything -- hot, cold, pressure, chafing -- but not shaving under the brace I get to wear wasn't a comfortable option, either.

Ooh! La La!, despite its minty scent, didn't sting on application, and reduced the razor drag to virtually none, a feat duplicated on my underarms. No drag, no bumps; just smooth soft skin as promised. And, at $3.99 for a 150 milliliter tube, it's actually cheaper than the body gel I have been using. This is a product I'll find room for.

Look out, ladies! There's a new British invasion coming to a Target near you - Ooh! La La! Shaving Gel. At first, I didn't think this product would hold up its claims of being non-drying and smoothing, but WOW! did it prove me wrong. My skin felt soft and moisturized after just one use.

The eucalyptus-scented gel is quite the aromatic wake-up call. It does wonders for making short work of leg shaving and, since it's clear, I was able to see those little freckles I sometimes move my razor over too quickly. The best part, though, was that the gel didn't dry out my skin like my old shaving cream did -- a huge plus in my book!

At only $3.99 per tube, you can bet I'll be buying this shaving gel from now on.
