I have been using a long-handled flossing tool for a while, and initially was flummoxed by the lack of a handle when I went to try these little Oral-B flossers. Then I realized that the "tail" of each little flosser is a pick. And it works great. The pick slides easily between teeth and manages to dislodge bits that the floss missed. I wore braces as an adult, and wish I had used these picks then to access the tight spots. The floss picks taste refreshingly minty.

When I first read about this product, I was excited, because one aspect of my dental hygiene was well below par -- I don't floss as much as I should. I figured anything that would make this task more enjoyable or easier definitely would be a huge plus. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the floss picks, as I felt the floss itself flexed too much and wasn't nearly as efficient as using the tried-and-true container of floss. I was not impressed with the flavoring, as it was virtually nonexistent. So, for now, I think I'll stick to the old way of flossing even though my fingers end up turning blue from the lack of blood flow!

Little did I know these floss picks would be such a joy to my dental hygiene. Cursed with awkwardly spaced teeth that make flossing -- even for my hygienist -- a difficult and unwieldily wrestling match, these babies are little daily miracles that must have been created by the tooth fairy herself. I'm amazed at how easily they slide into spaces that defied floss, and just as breezily -- and importantly -- slide out again! The pick is helpful for those stubborn bits stuck behind a crown. They come in mint and unflavored, but that's of negligible importance since I brush before flossing. For convenience and efficiency, I'm sold.
