The first time I used Snuggle Scent Boosters, I noticed the difference right away — before I even made it down the stairs to my laundry room, really. I tried the Lavender Joy version and could detect the rich floral aroma filling the room as I rounded the corner to my basement stairs.
The scent remained noticeable when I took my clothes out of the dryer. I wore a sweater washed with the boosters to work the next day and didn't need to wear perfume, as the scent remained so strong. I also added the booster to a load of sheets and towels, and the scent stayed for days after washing.
I like the fact that the product requires no measuring. Just keep the bag near the washing machine and toss it in.
All that being said, I am a scent person. If you're like some people, and heavy, long-lasting scents give you a headache, this is not for you.
Snuggle Scent Boosters sure do infuse your laundry with a powerful scent. I tried the Lavender Joy pods, and the first load was overwhelming. The load of casuals was too skimpy for the heavy-duty scent. I felt like the shirt I had on was distracting to the folks surrounding me in church pews on a Sunday morning. Sometimes, a scent can be too much of a good thing.
That said, for my second effort, I loaded a large batch of towels with my Tide pod and a Snuggle Scent Booster pod in my high-efficiency washer. It was perfect. Everyone enjoys a fresh-smelling towel after a luxuriating shower, and these fit the bill. I even had help folding the pleasant basket of laundry. The package suggests a layering of scents by adding Snuggle softener or dryer sheets. Save your money and enjoy a light scent with just a booster.
We seem to do a lot of laundry in our house, and fabric softener is important. We tried out the Snuggle Scent Boosters in lavender and did numerous loads of laundry with it. It smells great, the scent lasts, and it really softens the clothes and towels.
