This is the coolest tool! I zipped around the house trying it out on different surfaces. My favorite use for it was in the shower. Not only does it help clean the grout, but that icky crud that finds its way to the corners was no match for this handy tool. I was able to polish any soap scum and mineral deposits clean off the tub faucet. Ditto for my kitchen sink faucet and the crud and water residue behind it that too often is ignored with just a sweep of a scrub brush or wet rag.

This handy device has a rubberized handle that is easy to grip even if your hands are wet. I have a nickname for my new favorite cleaning tool that's green, black and oversized -- it's "my Hulk toothbrush."

The Sonic Scrubber really does what it promises on the package, and, for $12.99, it's worth the cost. Plus, different-size brushes in various-strength bristles are available for different jobs. I sampled a medium bristle device and found it to be adaptable to my cleaning jobs.

Built like a giant electric toothbrush, this tool made scrubbing fun -- for at least a day. I took it to the grout test. Those corners and between the tiles require quite an effort with cleanser and brushes. But -- bzzzzz -- there goes the gunk. It proved an equal match to the dried-on, blackened bits on the stovetop burners. I like the switch, which can lock the device on for more long-term scrubs. I found myself looking for little problem areas -- the black shoe scrapes in the kitchen floor, the buildup in the corners of the windows. You do feel quite a vibrating sensation in your hand while in use, but I can live with that. I plan on heading to the store to pick up the accessory brush pack and see what else I might do with this mighty scrubber.
