  • Jessica James: Jessica Elaine Wolfe, formerly James Elliot Wolfe Jr., and formerly of Oakdale, is an inmate at the state prison at Graterford. Taxpayers are underwriting sex-change drugs for Wolfe, who tells the Trib that "she" had always felt like a woman. But apparently not in 1995 when he raped a 9-year-old girl, the crime for which he's serving a five-to-15-year sentence. Wolfe's attorney says Jessica/James (what an appropriate name considering this kind of nonsense is robbery) has a constitutional right to appropriate medical care. Where does the Constitution say that ?

  • Lie exposed yet again: Those publicly financed sports stadiums on the North Shore that were supposed to be the tax subsidies to end all tax subsidies and pave the way for 100 percent private investment have generated, you guessed it, the "need" for more tax subsides. The Urban Redevelopment Authority has approved a $5.6 million tax-increment financing package for three new parking garages to support private development at the site. When will it end• Not until voters start kicking out those responsible at the polls.
