An Allegheny County judge sentenced a Turtle Creek man on Wednesday to life in prison plus five to 10 years without a chance of parole for a fatal shooting.

Common Pleas Judge Kathleen Durkin sentenced Troy Robinson, 32, for his conviction in the Feb. 26, 2010, shooting of Davon Williams, 25, of Arlington. A jury convicted Robinson in June of first-degree murder.

Police said Williams was shot outside the Hideaway Bar in Mt. Oliver. His body was found a day later in a snowy yard on Hays Street in Mt. Oliver.

Williams' family, including his two young sons, attended the hearing. Family members told the judge that the killing has left a huge void in their lives.
