NBC's "Scrubs" was the No. 1 TV program cited by 30,000 participants in USA Today's ninth annual Save Our Shows survey.

A total 61 percent of the voters said they wanted "Scrubs" to continue past its fifth season while 14 percent of the voters said cancel the series, USA Today said.

Coming in at No. 2 on the survey was the WB's "Veronica Mars," which has not yet garnered a spot on the new WB/UPN combined CW network.

Other shows championed by respondents were "Commander in Chief," "Everwood," "Invasion," "Reba" and "The King of Queens."

As for "Scrubs," USA Today reported it's "on the bubble" for next year because the contract between its producer, Touchstone Television, and NBC is expiring.

However, the newspaper predicted if NBC were to pass, it would be snatched up by Touchstone sibling ABC, which is in dire need of comic relief on its schedule.
