Two Allegheny County marble players are in first place in their respective divisions in the 85th National Marbles Tournament in Wildwood, N.J.

At the end of the second day of play Tuesday, John Leffakis, 14, of Lawrenceville was in first place and Nathan Narr, 13, of Lawrenceville was in 22nd place in the boys division. Leffakis was the local boys champion and Narr was the local runner-up.

Penelope Bauer, 11, of Bloomfield, the local girls runner-up, was in first place in the girls division. Amber Ricci, 12, of Glenshaw, the local girls champion, was in third place, and Sarah Ireland, 13, of Lawrenceville, a local alternate, was in 13th place in the girls division.

The four-day tournament will conclude Thursday.
