Crews will restrict northbound traffic on Route 28 to a single lane in several areas starting Monday for a pair of construction projects, PennDOT officials said.

Daily closures in Harmar near the Hulton Bridge will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday as crews from Brayman Construction Corp. install a utility pole.

Another northbound single-lane closure will take place from 8 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. Tuesday in the area of the 31st Street Bridge in the North Side while Trumbull Corp. installs an overhead sign at the bridge. Drivers are advised to use caution in the areas.
