Supermodel Tyson Beckford was recovering Tuesday from cuts and bruises suffered in an early morning wreck in Secaucus, N.J.

Beckford was "pretty badly beaten ... but was laughing about it," a Jersey City Medical Center source told the New York Daily News.

The face of Ralph Lauren and one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful apparently smashed his Dodge Ram truck into a utility pole.

Further details of the wreck were not available and his manager told the Daily News: "I don't know the details of the crash, and at the moment I don't want to know."

Beckford was treated and released from the hospital Monday afternoon. None of his injuries are considered to be serious.
