Britain's leading movie critics are predicting that "The Aviator" will win best film at next week's Academy Awards, the BBC said Friday. But "Million Dollar Baby" is deemed tough competition for "The Aviator," the country's top critics said in a BBC survey. Jamie Foxx and Hilary Swank were favored to win Oscars for best actor and best actress, respectively, for "Ray" and "Million Dollar Baby." Foxx's portrayal of Ray Charles has already earned him prizes at the Golden Globes, Baftas and Screen Actors Guild Awards, British critics noted. © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
