U.S. hip-hop diva Lauryn Hill's first British concert in seven years was described Wednesday as "shambolic from start to finish." Hill started on a bad note, showing up at London's Coliseum nearly two hours late and telling angry fans she had trouble deciding what to wear, BBC Radio 1 reported Wednesday. The sound was described as "terrible throughout" and Hill recited poetry instead of performing her hit, "Killing Me Softly." Fans were heard filing out of the auditorium grumbling about "a waste of money" and "being hustled," the radio network reported. Coliseum employees stood in the foyer after the show issuing refunds to fans who had paid nearly $79 for tickets. © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
