Uniontown jail guards reported hit by human waste

Several incidents of inmates tossing urine and feces on corrections officers at the Fayette County Jail are under investigation.

Michael Hicks, president of United Mine Workers of America Local 9113, on Wednesday advised the prison board of the incidents at the Uniontown lockup.

Brian Miller, warden, said criminal charges are pending results of the investigation.
