Uniontown man shot at American Legion

A Uniontown man was shot Sunday in the parking lot of the American Legion in Dunbar Township.

Joseph Lee Lockett, 31, of Uniontown sustained a gunshot wound to the hip area, state police at Uniontown said. He did not immediately seek treatment but was later taken by helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Oakland for treatment, police said.

His condition was not available Sunday.

According to a police report, the incident happened about 3 a.m. Sunday along Ridge Road.

Police do not have any known suspects at this time.
