Ellen Cruse is getting this year's batch of chili shaped up for competition.
She will enter it in the Murrysville-Export Rotary and Murrysville Recreation Department's annual Chili Oktoberfest competition, set for noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company No. 1's pavilion at 3235 Sardis Road.
Cruse spoke with the Trib about what makes a great bowl of chili.
