The grilled cheese sandwich that sold for $28,000 on eBay because it bore the image of the Virgin Mary will embark on a tour of the United States.
"See the amazing Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich for yourself, witness the miracle of the image and learn about its incredible power," proclaims a news release from new owner GoldenPalace.com, promoting the tour.
The divine sandwich has been seen by more than 1.7 million visitors since it was posted on eBay, the Canadian Internet gambling firm said.
The Sacred Sandwich will travel first class in a custom-made carrying case and riding in her very own "virgin white" Cadillac, the company said.
Miami Herald reporter Jim Defede will accompany the sandwich and report on the reactions of people to the "incredible piece of Americana pop culture," the release said.
