Regarding the letters — pro and con — about prolific letter writer Rudy Gagliardi in the Valley News Dispatch: While I rarely agree with his opinions, I agree that Rudy has the right to state those opinions.
It has been astonishing to read the extreme views of some people and realize we would never know of those extremists without the Valley News Dispatch's publication of these letters.
Let's keep the VND's letters to the editor open to all — intellectuals, kooks and everyone in between.
