For the past 3½ years, I have served with Anthony Shea on the Leechburg Area School Board. We elected him to be our vice president and a district representatives to the Lenape Technical School operating committee.
He is hardworking, loyal, trustworthy, dedicated and supportive of the initiatives and programs of our district and those of Lenape.
A retired U.S. Air Force major, Shea’s focus is always, “What is best for the educational needs of our children?” His integrity, honesty and passion for his board responsibilities are to be admired and emulated.
It has been an honor to work with him on educational endeavors. However, the time has come for him to serve as an Armstrong County commissioner.
Armstrong citizens deserve to reap the benefits of Shea’s experience, compassion and diligence, just as the Leechburg Area and Lenape students have. I know his focus will be, “What is best for the citizens of Armstrong County?”
When voting for Armstrong County commissioner, please strongly consider the character, work ethic and perseverance of Anthony Shea.
