Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Tom Cruise, Kanye West and Michael Jackson’s defense lawyer, Tom Mesereau, are the most fascinating people of 2005. ABC’s 12th annual Barbara Walters special, “The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2005,” will air a little earlier than usual this year, the night before television’s sweeps period ends Nov. 29, Zap2it.com reported Monday. As usual, Walters won’t name her most fascinating person until the end of the show. Walters’ 2004 person of the year was White House advisor Karl Rove. © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
