An arrest warrant has been issued for a Fayette County man suspected of committing several daytime burglaries of residences in the Hopwood area of North and South Union townships.

State police at Uniontown Friday filed burglary and related charges against Edward Andrew Tajc, 36, of Hopwood.

According to court documents filed with District Judge Wendy Dennis, Tajc and another unknown male broke into a facility owned by Medved Moving and Storage in Hopwood and removed a 2000 Honda XR 100 dirt bike.

Police said Tajc was identified through video surveillance footage. He is suspected in connection with residential burglaries in the county, police said.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Trooper James. A. Peirce at 724-415-1012 or Fayette County Crime Stoppers.
