A crew was wrapping up repairs to a water main under the deck of the Fort Duquesne Bridge on Monday morning, a Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority spokeswoman said.

A 2-inch air release valve was leaking on a 30-inch river crossing, which is a water main hanging under the bridge deck, Melissa Rubin said.

Traffic was restricted as crews repaired the leak. Earlier reports from Allegheny County dispatch indicated the break was at the Fort Pitt Tunnel, but a PennDOT spokesman said there were no issues at the tunnel.
