A small water main break Saturday flooded a basement in the Allegheny County Office Building, Downtown.

Firefighters said sump pumps and drains in the basement kept the water level at about four inches.

Electrical equipment in the flooded area was not affected, fire officials said.

A Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority crew arrived shortly after 4 p.m. to cut the flow of water, about an hour after the line break was reported.
