Water service in Polish Hill to stop for repairs

Water service on Polish Hill will be interrupted Sunday so that crews can repair a 6-inch water main leak on Herron Avenue, the Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority announced.

Crews will begin work at 6 a.m. and expect to have full service restored by 6 p.m. In the event of an emergency, contact the authority at 412-255-2429 or 412-255-2409.

There will be low water pressure or an interruption of service on parts of Fleetwood Way, Herron Avenue, Hancock Street, Bethoven Way, Brereton Street, Phelan Way, Paulowna Street, Ridgway Street, Rust Way, Kenney Way and Stockholm Street.
